Privacy Policy
Onyx is designed to be simple and private by default. This policy explains what information the app uses and how it is handled.
What we collect
On-device habit data. The habits you create and your completion history are stored locally on your device in an App Group container shared with the Home Screen widget. This data never leaves your device.
No account required. Onyx does not require you to sign in or create an account.
Notifications
Onyx can schedule local notifications for morning and evening reminders. These are created entirely on your device. You can enable or disable them any time in iOS Settings or inside the app.
Purchases and subscriptions
Optional subscriptions are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status and entitlement checks. RevenueCat may process purchase-related identifiers to provide this service. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy for details.
Analytics and crash reporting
Onyx does not integrate third-party analytics or crash reporting services.
Data sharing
We do not sell your personal information and do not share your habit content with third parties.
Data deletion
You can delete individual habits inside the app at any time. Deleting the app removes all local data from your device.
Children
Onyx is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the effective date at the top of this page when we do.
